Damasco: Confronto contra desertores da Guarda Republicana de Maher Assad.
A 4ª Brigada comandada pelo sanguinário Brigadeiro Maher Al-Assad está enfrentando sua terceira divisão massiva. Neste Domingo um violento combate entre as forças do governo e as soldados rebelados já deixou pelo menos 8 alto oficiais do governo sírio mortos e há relatos de que esta grande evasão levou um alarmante número de combatentes para o lado do FSA (Exército Livre).
De acordo com a ativista americana Kat Hanson membro do Grupo de Jornalismo Internacional da Revolução Árabe do BlogHumans, a Síria amanheceu com dois sons distintos: Enquanto que em Damasco, mais exatamente nos arredores do palácio presidencial pode-se ouvir os estrondos do combate entre forças especiais do governo e dissidentes das forças especiais do governo, nos arredores das mesquitas sírias ouve-se o som dos alto-falantes que em comemoração ao EID, transmitem orações e palavras de incentivo com sucessivas repetições da expressão "ALAHU AKBAH" (Deus é Grande).
As notícias em confirmação da terceira grande deserção massiva da Guarda Republicana Síria continuam sendo verificadas. Desta vez a "Ilha" divulgou que está buscando fazer contato com funcionários do governo ligados ao ramo da segurança, mas ainda não obteve resposta. A Ilha ainda aguarda o envio dos vídeos registrados no local, para confirmar os últimos acontecimentos.
De acordo com Kat Hanson, o Conselho Militar Sírio teria anunciado há pelo menos 9 horas atrás a execução dos oficiais Asef Shawkat, Mohammed (logo?), David Rajha, Hassan Turkmani, HishamBakhtiar e Mohammed Saeed Bekheitan. A ativista, citando o Conselho Militar sírio como fonte que teria "confirmado a morte da maioria desses nomes no hospital Shami" em Damasco por "desafiarem o regime para servir de exemplo. A notícia foi divulgada pela TV estatal síria. O problema é que o regime sírio literalmente fabrica notícias, então não há quem acredite em qualquer das publicações feitas pelas agências do governo.
Por outro lado "A Ilha" anunciou no início da madrugada que as forças de segurança teriam fechado todos os acessos ao Hospital Shami em Damasco, enquanto pesados confrontos aconteciam na Capital. Ainda a CCLSy (Coordenação de Locais da Síria) informou que puderam ser ouvidas fortes explosões na capital a cerca 500 metros de distância do Palácio Republicano. Segundo Kat Hanson informou, o presidente Bashar Al-Assad permanece escondido e cercado por forte proteção militar no Palácio Presidencial.
A Rede NBS de notícias da revolução síria (parceira do BlogHumans) completou que foram realizados bombardeios nos arredores do hospital Shami.
Bombardeios em Al-Rastan
Os bombardeios sobre a cidade de Al-Rastan já perduram cerca de 2 semanas consecutivas, deixando um cenário de ruínas por todos os lados. Ruas completamente desertas e muita destruição. As fotos a seguir foram enviadas pelo fotógrafo sírio colaborador do Grupo de Jornalismo Internacional da Revolução Árabe do BlogHumans que utiliza o pseudo "ebnalrstn2". Segundo o ativista, por volta das 4 horas da madrugada deste Domingo foi anunciada a morte do Coronel Aviador Qasim Saad Eddin dentro do QG do Exército Sírio. O ativista disse que a notícia teria sido anunciada no canal de TV Árabe.
Bombardeios ainda acontecem em Homs e o exército Livre interceptou um comboio de militares e milicianos pró-assad, destruindo as viaturas e matando a todos os ocupantes. Num dos veículos havia uma quantidade de munição.
Novo relato da "NBS" sobre a rebelião no QG da Guarda Republicana, trouxe a notícia de que no Sábado, pelo menos 39 pessoas morreram em consequência da violenta operação das forças de seguranças em perseguição ao povo sírio. Ainda informou que as explosões ouvidas na Capital Damasco "foram sem precedentes" e que os violentos confrontos e explosões continuam abalando várias regiões da cidade, citando o bairro de Shaalan, Mezze, Kvrsush, Ghouta Oriental (região rural de Damasco) ainda em Emsraba, Abu Al-Maliki. Segundo as fontes, o centro da maioria das explosões são os arredores do Palácio Presidencial. A agência disse que estão sendo esperados novos bombardeios na região provocados pelo próprio regime sírio.
