ONU: Conselho de Direitos Humanos votará hoje sobre a crise na Síria.
Nesta Quinta, o Conselho dos Direitos Humanos das Nações Unidas inciará uma nova votação às 19h (hora de Genebra) de uma nova resolução na tentativa de dar fim aos contínuos massacres de civis na Síria, que no dia 15 deste mês completou 1 ano resultando na morte de mais de 8.000 civis.
A última resolução proposta pelos estados árabes Turquia, Arábia Saudita, Qatar e Kuwait foi aprovada com 37 votos à favor e apenas 3 contra (Rússia, China e Cuba) e 3 abstenções (Índia, Equador e Filipinas).
A UNHCR propôe resoluções que também estão aguardando votação contra outros países que engrossam a lista dos "piores violadores" de direitos humanos "do mundo". Entre eles China, Cuba, Rússia, Arábia Saudita, Venezuela, Vietnã e Zimbabwe.
Além da Síria (Situação dos Direitos Humanos na Síria (A/HRC/19/L.38)), outros governos em condições críticas e situações embaraçosas serão discutidos, entre eles:

09h09 - Em Idlib duas famílias inteiras foram assassinadas por forças de segurança do regime sírio. As duas famílias, na maioria crianças e mulheres ocupavam um ônibus que transportava refugiados para um dos campos da Turquia.
Em Hama, na cidadela de Hadiq 7 tanques invadiram a região arqueológica e histórica. De acordo com a revolução síria, eles estão estacionados na área de Apameya e prestam apoio para as forças de segurança que ocuparam a cidade agora. Ainda helicópteros sírios sobrevoam e fuzilam civis por toda a Hama.
Em Homs, nas circunvizinhanças de Kalidya, bombardeios por morteiros estão fazendo muitas vítimas. Um perseguição insana a todos os habitantes da capital síria da revolução contra a opressão do regime de Al-Assad.
Em Damasco um Capitão do exército rebelde foi executado por um assassino desconhecido. Ainda outra pessoa (Ahmad Hamdan) foi morta acidentalmente durante a execussão do oficial que ocorreu no campo de refugiados de Yarmouk.

Entre as vítimas do exército sírio e das forças de seguranças 12 crianças, 4 mulheres, um desertor, 24 civis e outros 2 morreram por não resistir as torturas que sofriam.

Egito: Mubarak está em condições de ser julgado diz ministro da saúde.
As inúmeras notícias e os crescentes boatos que vinham anunciando uma "debilidade extrema" do ex-presidente Hosni Mubarak, não foram suficientes para impedir ou atrasar os preparativos para o julgamento.
Mubarak responderá por crimes de corrupção e por ordenar o assassinato dos manifestantes durante as manifestações que deflagraram no país contra a corrupção a partir de 11 de Fevereiro deste ano deixando 800 mortos e milhares de feridos. O julgamento diz respeito aos 18 dias de protestos no país.
O ministro da Saúde Amr Helmy disse nesta Quinta-feira que:
E a data será mesmo 3 de Agosto. O anúncio foi feito pelo ministro adjunto de Justiça nesta quinta.
O site também confirma que estão sendo preparadas áreas para a imprensa e representantes da mídia local e internacional dentro do tribunal que está sendo montado. De acordo com o site, apenas 1 emissora de TV privada poderá registrar o julgamento que decidirá como distribuirá o sinal. A AFP disse que no local haverá espaço reservado para centenas de jornalistas.
A segurança do local ficará por conta do exército e do ministério do interior, tendo sido acrescentado a instalação de portas eletrônicas em todos os acessos do prédio.
Segundo o site que cita o AFP que disse que o julgamento no Cairo ao invés de ser realizado em Sharm El Sheik foi decidido para não prejudicar o turismo na região.

TPI: Dia 07-05 abre comemorações do Dia da Justiça Penal Internacional em 17 de Julho

O evento de abertura acontecerá amanhã (07-07) com uma solenidade simbólica de hasteamento da bandeira convidando os interessados para as comemorações que vão até o dia oficial da comemoração que é 17 de Julho.
De acordo com o TPI em publicação oficial, "os eventos comemorativos de 17 julho visam sensibilizar e gerar apoio para a justiça global e a luta contra a impunidade."
O convite foi estendido aos "judiciários nacionais, tribunais internacionais, ONGs e outros parceiros" no intuito de comemorar esta data.
