Em entrevista telefônica com o "Oriente Médio" o líder do governo de transição da Líbia Jalil Abdel Mustafá falou sobre o alto preço da libertação do povo líbio da opressão da ditadura Kaddafi. Ele discorreu sobre o alto número de vítimas, feridos e desaparecidos e no final fez um importante e raro pedido:

"Conclamamos ao leão em benefício de seu povo para responder às exigências do Oriente Médio" disse.

Ele ainda afirmou que a campanha para derrubada do regime de 42 de Muammar Kaddafi teve alto custo para todos os padrões.
