The Ambassador of Syria in Lebanon, Ali Abd al-Karim said that "things are going better now in Syria."  He said Syria is gaining more "immunity."

According to the site Almanar, the diplomat said: 

"The reforms are happening at an accelerated pace and Syria today is a condition for comforting national basis and all steps have been promising."
About Obama's speech about the two options for the Syrian president told him: 

"Obama's speech is not so strange. U.S. policy yesterday and today in terms of the region is biased to the Israeli aggression and ambitions of Israel and showed no program for the tranquility of the Arab citizens, then the speech was a translation of this policy ... "

 Just today (20-5) strikes took to the streets more than 10,000 demonstrators only in the region of Al-Rastan.
